Run, Run, As Fast As You Can
Well, it's been fun here but Tales Of The Cool is on the move. I will no longer be posting here, instead I have found a new home. Tumblr here I come.

Now that I got your attention, thanks to the lovely Alison Brie, I would like to take the time to promote an artist with a special event happening April 27th. It is no secret that Bobby Ray (B.o.B.) is one of my favorite newcomers to the hip-hop scene. Even though he is often categorized as a rapper I hesitate to do so because once you get used to the emcee side, B.o.B., you are introduced to the other half Bobby Ray, a guitar playing musician who makes songs in the genre that he chooses depending on the mood he is in. From blues to pop, rock to rap, once you hear one thing expect something different. With the album release date being almost a month away I would like to (re)introduce you to the artist known as B.o.B.

Just Dance
Alright, I haven't messed with the blog the last couple of days because I have been away from my laptop. And (I don't care what my professors say, I'll start a sentence with "and" whenever I want) posts are going to be a lil' light around here for a while as well because I'm busy celebrating like the guy above. However, here is some new music from Asher Roth and Killer Mike to hold you over until I decide to take this serious again. Which is probably next week, when I want to get away from school, haha.

2DopeBoyz
Every Sunday Shake from 2DopeBoyz puts out a collection of R&B tracks that came out recently and calls it Shake's Sunday Soothing Session. I don't normally download it (and didn't download this one), and I won't be posting it every week as he does. However, this week's cover art was to good to not share. I mean look at that and tell me you didn't at least chuckle. The tape includes songs from Jennifer Lopez, Bruno Mars, Dru Hill, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, and more.

Don't Know Ya
Mr. Bobby Ray lends some bars to Drake's single "Over." You may be asking me, "where is Drake's first single? How can you call this a hip-hop blog site, and not post that song?" Well, that's because if you want to hear that song you can listen to the first verse of "Forever" on a loop, seeing as how Drake talks about the same sh!t on every track. Anyway, Adventures of Bobby Ray April 27th!
